I have always been very interested in astrology, psychics, tarot, numerology, personality tests, human design, anything that can help me understand myself and other humans on a deeper level. My passion for astrology and spirituality really took off in 2023, thank you Saturn return.
When I was 18 years old, I experienced my first real psychic reading that resonated with me more deeply than I knew at the time. I remember the psychic, Carol, told me I was stuck in a spider web and my life would really start after I learned how to breathe. I didn’t really know what that meant at the time, but years later I found out that I had a severe deviated septum, and it was blocking me from breathing and smelling at 100%. I had surgery to correct it in 2017 and my life quite literally “took off” after that. Shortly before the surgery I had landed my dream job, was living with my boyfriend (soon to be husband and father of my children), and I could finally BREATHE physically and metaphorically. I felt so free and was ready to take on the world!
Fast forward to March 2023, I started following a weekly astrology breakdown YouTube channel and started learning more and more about how the planets impact life on Earth. I am not an expert, but I will be in due time. Here are my placements and how I interpret the ones that stand out to me today:
House I in Virgo (rising sign) – I attribute my love of Accounting to my Virgo Rising placement. Virgo is known for perfection, reliability, highly analytical, intelligence and sophistication. I love the feeling of completing an account reconciliation and seeing the amounts match to zero. This makes the Virgo in me so satisfied.
House II in Libra
House III in Scorpio with Planets: Pluto
House IV in Sagittarius with Planets: Uranus, Neptune, North Node
House V in Capricorn with Planets: Mars, Saturn
House VI in Aquarius with Planets: Venus
House VII in Pisces with Planets: Sun, Mercury – Pisces in the 7th house represents deep emotional sensitivity. When I say I feel my emotions, I am not exaggerating. When I see someone who is sick, I feel physical pain. I can quickly absorb the energies around me (I have learned to block this, and cleansing the energy around me has become crucial to my emotional and spiritual health). On the flip side, when I experience joy, it is all encompassing, and I feel lit up from the inside out. I am constantly on the hunt for deep emotional and spiritual connections with the people around me. I do not enjoy small talk or talk about the weather. Mercury is the planet of thinking, processing, communication, and learning style. With Mercury in Pisces, I am ever changing and learning. I like to keep it fresh.
House VIII in Aries
House IX in Taurus
House X – Midheaven in Gemini – This placement gets me excited about change. I like new things and the 10th house represents what a person is meant to do in this lifetime, so frequent change and fun in my career is a must. I am not the type of person who will do the same thing every day, I like to change it up. I enjoy mental challenges and love to be in the room with intelligent people who share their ideas.
House XI in Cancer with Planets: Moon
House XII in Leo with Planets: Jupiter
